Chenguang Research Institute of Chemical Industry

ChenGuang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, set up in 1965, is one of the major chemical bases of China for producing, researching & developing polymeric materials especially fluoroelastomers, PTFE powders, other fluorinated monomers and polymers, as well as silicones. ChenGuang owns five branch factories underneath for production of different kinds of products, and also, there are several centers such as the Quality inspection center, the Engineering technology center, the Products application & developing center, etc. in charge of products quality control, and technical promotion and developing. The 1088 persons among the total ~4000 staff are technical personnel.
ChenGuang mainly deals with fluoroelastomers (copolymer, terpolymer) , fluorinated resins (PTFE, PVdF, F2314, F2319, F46) , F22, HFP, silicones (rubber, resin, fluid) , epoxy, aromatic polyester resin, some other engineering plastics, adhesive, pharmaceutical polymers, plastics-processing, machinery for plastics processing and anti-corrosion equipment. And the products are widely used in the fields of space, aviation, electronics, petrol, chemistry, coal, automobile, textile, machinery industries, etc. . Since its establishment, ChenGuang has achieved 448 items of research fruits among which over 200 items gained awards issued by the country or the national Ministry of Chemical Industry. . The State Council and the Ministry of Chemical Industry of China think highly of ChenGuang for its significant contributions to national industry. In recent several years, ChenGuang has invested over 100M RMB (equivalent to USD 12,000,000) and successfully designed and built up several updated production lines, including 1000MT/year PTFE, 600 MT/year Fluoroelastomers, 2500 MT/year TFE industrial trial line, 50MT/year Aromatic Polyester Powder etc.
ChenGuang products are designed and produced according to ASTM standard and relative national standards. The institute has been certified / registered by ISO9001 . Computer assistant system is widely used in its production and daily management, including ECSS in designing department, and DCS in the production lines. Being authorized to deal with import & export business by Chinese government, ChenGuang has exported its own products for years to USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Iran, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan, India etc. , and has earned good reputation in both domestic and oversea market.
